TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (Hoot)- Caledon, ON
I absolutely love the TPC Osprey Valley Complex. I can’t wait to see the end results of the current expansion, even though they may make it impossible to get a tee time when complete. Currently, it is quite a trek from Toronto to the courses, making onsite overnight accommodations a game changer.
Opened in 2001, the Doug Carrick design quickly became a favorite in the GTA. Like other courses in the area, it utilizes a former gravel and sand quarry, included flooded areas, that now act as water hazards. Mature trees were incorporated into the course layout, along with 8000 added by Carrick. The result is reminiscent of Carolina golf, with a mix of hardwoods and pines, and more than a few waste bunkers.
Consistently ranked among the best courses in Canada, it is well worth the expense and long drive from the city.
