Duck, NC
For years I heard tell of a quaint, quiet town on North Carolina's Outer Banks, unspoiled by development. Long before the eponymous donuts hit the scene, Duck was known as the antithesis of many East Coast beach towns, and their debauchery. A place to enjoy nature rather than shots on Spring Break.

Neabsco Boardwalk- Woodbridge, VA
As I have previously mentioned, I have an affinity for boardwalks, and Neabsco's is a beauty. Opened in 2019, the .75 mile wooden walkway stealthily winds it way over the Neabsco Creek, and the surrounding wetlands. Smaller connected plank paths venture into the adjacent forest.
