DUMBO- Brooklyn, NY
The area known as DUMBO, an acronym for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass, historically was an industrial area and ferry landing, developed in the late 1800s. Consisting largely of Greek Revival and Italianate factories and warehouses, the area was considered less than desirable by most New Yorkers. My, how times have changed.

Spanning the East River between Manhattan and Brooklyn is one of the most iconic bridges ever built. After the Golden Gate, it is arguably the most recognizable bridge in the world. Walking its majestic neo-Gothic span is something everyone should do at least once.

Queenstown Harbor Golf Course (River)- Queenstown, MD
Fresh off a 2022 renovation, which resurfaced the fairways and updated the turf to Tahoma 31 Bermuda Grass, the River Course is the way to go at Queenstown Harbor. Not only does it feature fabulous views of the Chester River on several holes, it winds through moody wetlands, making it the more scenic of the two courses on site.

Ohiopyle, Pennsylvania
Ohiopyle is an incredibly charming little town in the Laurel Highlands, with a horrible name. Incredibly scenic, the town itself sits at a horseshoe bend of the Youghiogheny River, and is overflowing with hikers, bikers, kayakers and white water rafters in the summer.
