Inglis Falls Conservation Area- Owen Sound, ON
Previously the site of a mill and water filtration plant, Ingis Falls Conservation Area is now home to miles of trails and stunning scenery. The star of the show is a 59 foot cascade that once powered the mills, where the Sydenham River meets the edge of the Niagara Escarpment.

Malivoire Winery- Beamsville, ON
Malivoire's Quanset hut is definately one of the Niagara area's more unique wine tasting venues. It is also one of the few wineries I have visited since Covid that offers a full tasting experience, lead by a knowledgable vineyard employee. No plastic cups and paper slips with short summaries here. Rather a full explanation of the winery's different vineyards, soils types, grapes and vintages, which was almost as refreshing as the wine.

Fathom Five National Marine Park- Georgian Bay, ON
Just off the Bruce Peninsula sits Fathom Five National Marine Park, which protects Lake Huron's unique rock formations, lighthouses and underwater features. Only accessible by boat, it's the perfect summer excursion.

Halfway Log Dump- Bruce Peninsula National Park, ON
The Grotto may be the most popular park area in Tobermory, but the humerously named Halfway Log Dump (a timber reference) is the most scenic. Winding through the woods, the trail leads to a wide cobbled beach, beyond which lies a stunning stretch of Georgian Bay coastline.

The Grotto- Bruce Peninsula National Park, ON
Prior to living in Canada, I had an extremely limited knowledge of their National Park System. As in, limited to Banff and Jasper- the Canadian equivilant of Yosemite and Yellowstone. I certainly had never heard of The Bruce Peninsula, which may just be one of the most beautiful locations I have ever visited. You just don't know what you don't know.
