Mill Creek Golf Course: South- Youngstown, OH
I usually am not a fan of parkland style golf courses, mostly because of the constant threat from errant golf balls. That said, I love both of Mill Creek's Golf Courses, set within the magnificent park of the same name.

Mill Creek Park- Youngstown, OH
Mill Creek is one of the most magnificent parks I have ever visited. Seriously. A diverse gem, it is one of the finest urban parks in the United States. From dramatic vistas and arched stone bridges to gorgeous geology, it is stunning in every season.

Dave Grohl Alley- Warren, OH
Dave Grohl Alley is one of those Atlas Obscura roadside attractions you just can't help but visit. Tucked away behind a Burger King, it is literally an alley dedicated to drummer Dave Grohl, who was born in Warren. Evolving since 2009, it is a showcase for local artists, and worth a stop if you find yourself in the area.

Marble Room- Cleveland, OH
Cleveland's Marble Room is the first restaurant I have ever featured. It is that impressive. By far one of my favorite restaurants EVER based on their sous vide Old Fashioneds and Fish-n-Chips sushi rolls alone, the architecture elevates the experience even further.

Alcazar Hotel- Cleveland Heights, OH
Although far past its prime, and no longer a hotel, the Alcazar undeniably has good bones. Although somewhat sad these days, you can catch glimpses of its past grandeur, and imagine how impressive it was in its heyday, when it hosted guests such as Cole Porter, Bob Hope and George Gershwin.
