Skyline Trail- Cape Bretton NP
Skyline Trail is a magnificent 5 mile mostly level loop, with stunning views of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, The Cabot Trail and the dramatic Cape Bretton coastline. One of the most popular hikes in the park, expect a crowd, limited wildlife, and a full parking lot during the park's high season (July-August).

The Markland Coastal Beach Cottages- Dingwall, NS
In the best possible way, The Markland reminds me of summer camp. Located on an impossible beautiful piece of land, overlooking the Cabot Strait, the hotel features rustic cabins, a large grassy lawn and views for days.

Highland Links- Ingonish Beach, NS
Conceived by the Canadian National Park Service in the throes of the Great Depression, Stanley Thompson's 1939 classic links course is still magnificent. Considered an homage to the sport's Scottish roots, the course is perennially listed as one of the Top 10 tracts in Canada.
