Years ago, I watched a golf tournament played on an unbelievably beautiful course. The fairways were surrounded by dense jungle, flanked by a network of mangrove canals. I immediately vowed to visit one day, to wind through the wild waterways in an impossibly quaint little boat emblazoned with Mayakoba on the back. That day arrived in 2024.

Puerto Los Cabos offers a bit of variety, and a lot of scenery spread over 27 holes. Opening in 2007 as the world's only Greg Norman/Jack Nicklaus composite course, the facility added a second Nicklaus course in 2018, with rumors of another Norman nine to be built in the future.
