The Liberty Hotel- Boston, MA
Completed in 1851, for most of its history Boston's imposing Charles Street Jail was definitely a building to avoid. Purchased by Mass General Hospital in 1991, the property underwent an extensive renovation, and reemerged as a luxury hotel.

Sandwich Boardwalk- Sandwich, MA
A well placed boardwalk is worth its weight in gold. Often providing access to environmentally fragile areas, these slightly raised walkways allow you to experience an ecosystem, without substantially impacting it. Since 1875, the Sandwich Boardwalk has provided dry passage over Mill Creek and across the marsh, providing pedestrian access to Town Beach.

Nobska Light- Falmouth, MA
Located on a rugged windswept spit of land on the southwestern tip of Cape Cod sits the unbelievably picturesque Nobksa Lighthouse. Constructed in 1876, the forty foot brick and metal tower features Italianate window surrounds and a ten sided lantern house with an iron balcony. While the last civilian light keeper retired in 1973, the Coast Guard manned the light until 1985, when it was automated. In 2016, the Town of Falmouth was granted a license to restore and maintain the light station property, as well as the adjacent light keeper’s house.
