Bulle Rock Golf Club-Havre de Grace, MD
Bulle Rock Golf Club is frequently listed as the best public golf course in Maryland. To be clear, it is really nice. It is also a Pete Dye course, so it is really, really hard. Unless your handicap is under 5, you probably just shouldn't keep score.

Ministry of Brewing- Baltimore, MD
Ministry of Brewing combines reuse, preservation, and beer- so I'm all in. Although it's been on my radar for a few years, I just recently made it back to Baltimore for the first time in ages. Always a favorite city of mine, it just feels comfortable and lived in to me, like well worn shoes- despite what some might think of the city. Ministry of Brewing feels the same way.

Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge- Cambridge, MD
If you have never seen a Bald Eagle in the wild, Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge is the place that can make it happen. Although the number varies depending on the time of year, the refuge hosts over 150 of the black and white birds, so the odds are most definitely in your favor- even if you never leave your car.

Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort- Cambridge, MD
I will preface this post by admitting we are not this resort's target audience. I could tell from the reviews and hotel website that the property was more geared toward families and children, but thought during the shoulder season it might be fun for a weekend getaway. Don't make that mistake. This is not the location for a couples escape.

River Marsh Golf Course- Cambridge, MD
Based on the course's location, I was expecting more Choptank River adjacent holes. That was a mistake. While kept in good condition, overall the course was just average, and not worth its resort course price in my option.
