Built in 1883 for the owner of the Rocky Mountain News, William Byers, the Byer-Evans house is an excellent example of an early Italianate with later additions. Located in one of Denver’s oldest neighborhoods, the brick house features arched stonework over the windows, ornate chimneys, and an ornamental cast iron widow’s walk.
