Sweetwater Bay- Tobermory, ON
Situated above Lake Huron's craggy coast, Sweetwater Bay offers unparallaled views of its sparkling waters and access to the most magnificent swimming spot in Tobermory. Reached by a series of decks and staircases, the dramatic decent is as unfortable as the surrounding landscape.

The Grotto- Bruce Peninsula National Park, ON
Prior to living in Canada, I had an extremely limited knowledge of their National Park System. As in, limited to Banff and Jasper- the Canadian equivilant of Yosemite and Yellowstone. I certainly had never heard of The Bruce Peninsula, which may just be one of the most beautiful locations I have ever visited. You just don't know what you don't know.

Thunder Cove Beach- Darnley, PE
Although Thunder Cove’s famous Teacup Rock was lost to Fiona in 2022, it is still a remarkably beautiful beach. Here, striking red sandstone cliffs and caves create a surreal Martian landscape that just begs to be photographed.

Covehead Harbour Lighthouse- York, PE
While the current Covehead Harbour lighthouse only dates to 1975, it is still incredibly charming. A mere 26 feet tall (the smallest on Prince Edward Island), its square tapered tower has unique wooden brackets, cheery red deck and a 100 year old Fresnel Lens from Dalhousie, New Brunswick.

Panoroma Park- Clinton, PE
Not far from the Green Gables complex is a pocket park so impossibly scenic, it would be criminal not to stop. Little more than a parking lot, the view more than makes up for its diminutive size. With a quaint harbor and rolling hills, it is the bucolic ideal, and everything you imagine when picturing Prince Edward Island.
