Pine Cay Resort- Pine Cay, Turks and Caicos

Without a doubt, Pine Cay is one of the most beautiful islands in the world. It is certainly one of the most relaxing. While getting there requires a minor journey, involving several forms of transportation, it is well worth the effort.

For those looking for a true escape, the private island of Pine Cay offers true seclusion, in a stunning setting. After landing at Providenciales International Airport, a waiting car whisks you to the marina, and the last leg of your journey. A short, scenic boat ride later, you arrive at Pine Cay (White Lotus vibes-in a good way). For those who can’t be bothered, there is the option of a short flight to the island’s air strip.

With just 12 rooms, all beachfront, the resort will never be crowded. Even so, the whole island is yours to explore, over 800 acres, so you can easily avoid the few people staying on the island, if that’s your wish. That said, the rooms here are very private, each with their own screen porch and palapas, so you won’t need to go far if solitude is what you’re seeking. For those feeling social, there are daily diving excursions, a stunning pool, and yoga classes.

The beach here is unquestionably one of the most stunning in the world. If you have ever fantasized about a tropical vacation, you probably pictured Pine Cay. Its white powder sand and ridiculously blue water are nothing short of breathtaking, and I dare say “paradise” personified. Needless to say, it is also incredibly photogenic.

If you are more of an active vacationer, the resort offers bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, and Hobie Cats. There is also a small spa on site, that offers excellent services.

Meals are included here, with different offerings each day. While I was a bit suspect going in, everything was phenomenal, and included a lot of local seafood. More importantly, their frozen drinks were scratch made, and absolutely delicious.

The whole experience was exactly what we needed, and I hope to be lucky enough to return in the future.
