Mono Cliffs Provincial Park- Shelburne, ON

While beauiful all year long, Mono Cliffs is downright magical in the fall. Featuring several trails across 1800 acres, many come for the dramatic cliff faces found in the area. While impressive, the geology is overshadowed in October, when the woods are transformed into a vibrant and vivid wonderland. 

Part of the Niagara Escarpment, here you have the oportunity to walk atop the cliffs, look out over the countryside, decend into a canyon, and sit lakeside- all in the same day. The area is also home to one of the oldest, intact old-growth white cedar forests in eastern North America, and a large squirrel community. 

Follow with a visit to Mono Cliffs Inn, located in a century old general store, and their charming Peter Cellars pub.
