Constructed in 2007 as part of a golf course community, the Inn at Cobble Beach features just ten rooms. This results in an intimate feel, like staying the weekend at a friend’s waterfront estate.
The shingled building itself reminds me of Newport’s Castle Hill Inn – giving a classic New England Coastal vibe. The first floor features a large dining room, with sweeping lake views, complete with a large fireplace for cooler days. The second floor rooms are large, with expansive views.
The focus here is on outdoor pursuits, with a Doug Carrick designed golf course, tennis courts, and 8 miles of trails to explore- not to mention the pristine waters of Georgian Bay. It’s easy to spend the weekend here without ever leaving the resort grounds.
