A visit to Glenora Distillery is like being transported to the Scottish Highlands. Incredibly scenic, a whisky flight here is a must.
Built in 1990, with guidance from Scotland’s Bowmore Distillers, Glenora uses traditional copper pot stills to produce its whisky, using just three ingredients: barley, yeast and water. The most important, water, is sourced from the MacLellan Brook, which runs through the property.
They were North America’s first single malt whisky distillery, and continue to produce a quality product. There gift shop is also outstanding, with both beverages and local crafts available for purchase.
