Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North- Scottsdale, AZ

Just like golf courses, there are no shortages of hotels and resorts in Scottsdale. With so many options, staying at them all would be an impossible task, but I’m determined to give it a try (omitting those with waterparks of course). I do give preference to those with golf courses to make things easy, which led to me to the Four Seasons Troon North. It did not disappoint.

Located on the scenic site of cereal heiress Louis Kellogg Maury’s 1940s estate, known as Crescent Moon Ranch, the Four Seasons Scottsdale opened in 1999. It’s just far enough out of Scottsdale proper to feel remote- quietly nestled in the shadows of Pinnacle Peak, surrounded by stunning vistas and abundant wildlife. The grounds here dissappear into the desert, providing a peaceful retreat

Everything at the resort surpassed our expectations, which rarely occurs these days. The room was comforatable and cozy, and the onsite restaurants excellent.  The Troon North golf courses were a short shuttle ride away, with several other top rated options in the area. Even over the Christmas holidays the resort delivered, which absolutely did not happen at our second stop in Scottsdale.
