Fathom Five National Marine Park- Georgian Bay, ON

Just off the Bruce Peninsula sits Fathom Five National Marine Park, which protects Lake Huron’s unique rock formations, lighthouses and underwater features. Only accessible by boat, it’s the perfect summer excursion.

The name is a reference to water depth, apt for an area with 22 shipwrecks, including the 1885 schooner The Sweepstakes, visable from the surface. The park also includes 20 islands, including Flower Pot Island with its famous sea stacks.

While many people travel to the park to scuba dive or kayak, cruises are available for a more passive experience.
