Columbus, Ohio is the perfect combination of new and old. Dating back to 1812, it contains an eclectic collection of public and private buildings. From stately Beaux Arts beauties to modern skyscrapers, there are excellent examples of just about every type of architecture, both good and bad. Home to the both the state capital and Ohio State University, it’s a wonderfully walkable city, with several distinct neighborhoods, and no shortage of green space. From the stylish Short North, to the cobbled alleyways of German Village, it’s an interesting city to explore.
