Sandbanks Provincial Park- Picton, ON
Sandbanks Provincial Park is home to the largest bay-mouth barrier dune formation in the world. Formed by glaciers 12,500 years ago, sand deposition continues via longshore currents along Lake Ontario's Northern Shore. Mono Cliffs Provincial Park- Shelburne, ON
While beauiful all year long, Mono Cliffs is downright magical in the fall. Featuring several trails across 1800 acres, many come for the dramatic cliff faces found in the area. While impressive, the geology is overshadowed in October, when the woods are transformed into a vibrant and vivid wonderland.

Inglis Falls Conservation Area- Owen Sound, ON
Previously the site of a mill and water filtration plant, Ingis Falls Conservation Area is now home to miles of trails and stunning scenery. The star of the show is a 59 foot cascade that once powered the mills, where the Sydenham River meets the edge of the Niagara Escarpment.

Elora Gorge- Elora, ON
Just downstream from the lovely Elora Mill Hotel is the Elora Gorge, where glacial meltwaters cut through towering limestone cliffs, leaving behind a stunning geologic display. Accessed by a steep staircase in Victoria Park, those willing to wade upstream are rewarded with exceptional views of Lover's Leap, located at the confluence of the Grand River and Irvine Creek.

Front Range Lighthouse- Port Dalhousie, ON
At the end of an unassuming concrete pier in Port Dalhousie stands a 45 foot tapered tower style Lake Ontario lighthouse. Contructed in 1880 to mark the harbor entrance, the square wooden structure is topped with a bracketed platform and original octagonal metal latern.
