Go to Bluemont for the views and the flatbread. Seriously, the Viognier was fine, but the location is outstanding. At 951 feet above sea level, the rustic tasting room’s deck showcases the vineyard’s vines and the ridiculously scenic Virginia countryside below. A wildly popular destination, reservations are a must. Unless you want a workout with your wine, drive to the upper parking lot- that hill’s a killer.
